  • What are the minimum financial requirements to qualify as a franchisee?

    $90,500 in liquid assets and $100,000 in net worth.

  • I only want to open one territory. Is that acceptable?

    310-DUMP is currently recruiting both single and multi-unit franchisees. We are looking for candidates who can acquire and grow their territories, even if you own just one.

  • How do I apply to become a franchisee?

  • What is the start-up cost for a new 310-DUMP territory?

  • What is your royalty rate?

    • 8% of weekly gross sales.
  • What is the franchise fee for the initial five-year franchise agreement term, and when is it due?

    The franchise fee is currently $15,000 for the initial 50,000 population plus $7,500 for each additional territory, and it is due upon the execution of the franchise agreement.

  • Does 310-DUMP offer an area of protection (AOP) in writing?

    Yes. Exclusive Territory means that the franchiser and/or another franchisee will not compete for the same business service within the same geographic area (territory). Each territory will be mapped based on postal codes and population figures. No two franchisees will encroach over each other's territory.

  • Where is 310-DUMP looking for franchisees?

    While we are open to applications from all over the Canada, some markets have a higher need for new franchisees than others. We will try to match all qualified applicants' geographic interest with any 310-DUMP opportunities that exist. To see what markets are currently available, click here.

  • I do not have waste industry experience. Is it still possible to be approved as a new franchisee?

    310-DUMP welcomes interest from people with a demonstrated history of success in operations and sales, preferably in a sales and service environment. A history of entrepreneurial and employment successes are viewed positively.

  • How long will it take me to become a 310-DUMP franchisee?

    The timing will vary depending on the applicant's experience and the territory being developed.

  • How much time is required to complete the training program?

    Training may vary depending on the applicant's experience. However, training time is estimated to be not less than 10 business days, including field and class time. 310-DUMP considers the training time crucial to the success of new franchisees. You will also find detailed information regarding the training program in our FDD.

  • Where does the training take place?

    In-class training usually takes place at our head office in Edmonton, Alberta. Field training will take place in Edmonton and/or at the franchisee's location.

  • Does everyone with a financial interest or ownership in the Franchise Agreement have to go through the training?

    No. Typically only the principal owner plus one more person must attend.

  • Are there available sites in my area?
